Good Morning students, Toronto Police Service in collaboration with Danforth Collegiate & Technical Institute will host an exciting fund raising event called, Cram-A-Cruiser on May 27th, 2016 during our annual barbeque event. Yes, you heard correctly, we’re having a barbeque on Friday and it’s FREE to all students! Participation in this fund raiser is simple! Bring as much none perishable items as you can to completely fill our School Resource Officer’s cruiser. All of your donations will be collected and weighed as we compete with other schools and police services in Ontario to see who can donate the most amount of food items for such a worthy cause. All food or monetary contributions will be delivered to the Daily Bread Food Bank and they will deliver it to families in Fort McMurray, Alberta who lost their homes and are in dyer need of this assistance. Thank you all for your participation! Remember, if each person brings at least one non-perishable food item, as a school we would have helped to feed at least 1000 families at a time when they need it the most.  See you out there!!!

Students are reminded that they can vote until 12:00 noon for next year’s Student Council executive by going on-line with their Board email address.  Exercise your democratic rights!!  S. Bain
