Announcements for Tuesday, March 25 2014

For those who haven’t bought their yearbooks yet the yearbooks are finally on sale.  To pre-order come tomorrow at lunch with the $30.00 to the Student Council office, Room B05.  Please hurry as yearbooks are limited.  G. Belegrinis

Would you like to traveland complete credits during the summer?  Representatives are here today in the front foyer at lunch to give more information.  T. Maestri

Intramural Floor Hockey starts in April.  All students interested in playing, please check the bulletin board outside of Room Yo2, the Phys Ed office.             T. Beardwood

The Table Tennis team tryouts continue tomorrow after school in the South Gym.  H. Kwan

Thursday, March 27th is the OSSLT.  There are no classes.  Only students writing are expected to be here.  Students much be in their classes by 9:00 a.m.  Assigned classes are posted outside the Main Office, the Library, and the Special Education Office Room B67.  S. Bain

Track practice with Ms. Morris-Pocock is Thursday of this week.  Meet at Room Y02 the Phys Ed office at 3:15 p.m.  Track practice next week:  Monday afternoon, Tuesday morning, and Thursday afternoon.  N. Jardeleza

A reminder to students writing the the Literacy Test.  Classroom assignments are up in the main hall outside of the Main Office and in the hallway outside of the Library. S. Bain

Any girls interested in Girls Soccer please see Ms. Cranswick today at lunch in the Guidance Office.  We need to confirm numbers to make sure that we have enough for a team.  R. Cranswick

Lights, Camera, ACTION!  Anyone interested in trying out fo a short film by DCTI Film Club, please come to Room A37, Broadcast Studio, at lunchtime to tryout.  M. Bryan

Today is the United Nation’s International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimation.  As Canadians we join countries around the world in making the “fight against racism”, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, and the protection of victims thereof, a hight priority.  D. If there are any graduating students who have not received a sheet to write their grad quote for the yearbook, please pick on up at Room A37, the Broadcast Studio and return it by early next week.  G. Belegrinis

World Water Day is today.  Please come and join your EcoSchool team for a Solidarity Walk around the block at the beginning of lunch.  We’ll be gathering in the main foyer.  Join us!!  J. Romani
